New Camera

So as mentioned before it was recently my birthday. I have been wanting a new digital rebel camera to be able to take good pictures of the kids and all there activities. Well for my birthday my family got me a Canon digital rebel camera. It was totally unexpected but very appreciated. This camera has so many features that I think I am going to have to take a photography class to learn all the ins and outs of taking a good picture. For now though I thought I would post some random pictures I have taken.

Yummy cake a good friend made me and my friend Jo for our birthday.

BYU Here She Comes!

January 15 was my birthday and I received the best birthday present a mom could ever receive. Carissa got her acceptance letter from BYU-I. Matt and I could not be happier for her. She is really excited and I am sure relieved that the process is over and she will be heading off to college. I really never thought that this day would come. It has made me realize how quickly the kids grow up. Carissa and I have been thru so much together it is hard to think that she won't be around the house everyday. I am so excited that she gets to go out into the world and become the Woman she is meant to be. Way to go Carissa, We could not be any prouder or happier for you!

Happy Birthday Christopher

Christopher celebrated his 15th birthday today. Actually we celebrated it on Sunday because he had school and a soccer game on the actual day and he was gone from 6:30am to 9:30pm. We did enjoy watching him play in his soccer game. It was a great game but in the end they did not win. Christopher had a great game and had a great shot on goal at the very end. I think he enjoyed his gifts and we all enjoyed steak, twice baked potatoes and ooey gooey peanut butter cake per his request. He also had a good time hamming it up with each picture he took. He will be getting his permit this coming week and I am not sure if he is as excited as I am, as in a year from now, I will no longer have to drive him to all the soccer practices he has!!
Happy Birthday Christopher we love you and are very proud off all you do!

Merry Christmas!

Well another Christmas has come and gone. This Christmas was fun just like all the others. Again we had a house full, which I always enjoy. Matt's parents brother and Grandma were all here. Not much to say about Christmas, except it was a lot of fun and there was lot's of good food. Hopefully the pictures will speak for themselves. Sorry the pictures are out of order, I could not figure out how to fix them!

Happy Birthday Bryan

Bryan turned 14 today. I think he had a great birthday. I had noticed that he is musically inclined so we bought him and acoustic guitar and I think it was a big hit. I know he had no idea he would be getting one. It was a nice surprise. His Grandma and Grandpa Davison were here and His Uncle Joe and Great Grandma also. We enjoyed tortellini with Alfredo sauce and Heath bar Cake per Bryan's request. I am amazed at how quickly they grow up! He is all ready taller than me and I think soon he will be taller than his father! Happy Birthday Bryan We Love You!

Feliz Navidad

Hannah had her school party and this year it was a Mexican Christmas. It was really cute the kids, made ponchos and sombrero's and they had a pinata and sang us songs. Hannah had a great time decorating cookies and eating them and making all sorts of crafts. I think the kids all enjoyed themselves and so did I. The kids sang Feliz Navidad and a couple of other songs. I hope you enjoy the pictures and video.

Christmas Concert

Carissa had a Wonderful Christmas Concert with her High School Choir. They sang with part of the Pensacola symphony orchestra and it was absolutely beautiful. I have started to realize that my days of Choir Concerts and High School plays will soon be behind us. It is making me a little sad. I have enjoyed every Christmas Performance that Carissa has been involved in since elementary school. I will surely miss that during the Christmas season. So turn on your speakers and enjoy a little of the Christmas Concert!
